Department of Jarahat (Surgery)

Ilmul Jarahat i.e. surgery is always an integral part of Unani System of Medicine. Many renowned Unani physicians has described Jarahat as a treatment for diseases when required.

Abul Qasim Zahrawi popularly known as Al-Zahrawi or Abulcasis considered as greatest surgeon of Middle East and has been described as the Father of Surgery.

The department has 24 library books, 65 charts, and all other requirements as per the MSR 2016.

Faculty members in department of Ilmul Jarahat are providing high quality teaching in the classroom, OPD and IPD. Many surgical procedures are performing in operation theatre.
